La Caudrina – Moscato d’Asti La Galeisa – 2022

La Galeisa, a wine that takes its name from the hill that dominates the landscape of Castiglione Tinella, from a vineyard at 320 meters above sea level with plants over 50 years old, an intriguing and enveloping Muscat is produced. For the production of this wine, the best bunches are selected in August to best enhance the aromas and fragrance of the Muscat grape. A sweet and sparkling wine with surprising aromatic complexity, excellent to drink with a good dessert!

Productive Notes: The grapes are gently pressed and the must obtained is made brilliant with clarification and filtration. This grape juice is kept in refrigerated tanks until it is processed in an autoclave to obtain a lively wine by means of fermentation conducted at a controlled temperature with the use of selected yeasts.

Description

The history of the Caudrina company begins with Redento Dogliotti in the early 1940s, we are in Castiglione Tinella, a small village between the Langhe and Monferrato, one of the areas that have always been considered among the best for the production of Muscat. Since 1997 the winery has been officially in the hands of his son Romano Dogliotti who has decided to specialize in the production of quality wines, which respect tradition and the territory.
