Description

Champagne, a name entered in the everyday language for its fame, cradle par excellence of bubbles in the world. It is here that Georges Vesselle, a pioneer and a far-sighted connoisseur, started his activity in the 1980’s after having worked for other wineries such as Mumm, Perrier-Jouet and Heideseck Monopole before starting his own business. An exemplary management to make him an icon while serving as mayor of Bouzy for 25 years before his death in 2009, now his sons Eric and Bruno carry on the name of the company with the same dedication. The Maison is located at the foot of Reims mountain in the village of Bouzy, one of the most renowned Grand Cru in particular for Pinot Noir, of which in 17 hectares of the property is the most cultivated representative blend together with a small part of Chardonnay. The excellent exposition of vineyards ensure products of absolute quality, innovations in wine making methods and long aging on lees in the family cellar dug in the chalk complete a picture of precious beauty.
