Schiavenza – Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d’Alba – 2016

Here in Serralunga d’Alba, always considered one of the pillars of the Barolo denomination, the Schiavenza winery was born, which for over seventy years has given us wines of great structure, complexity and closely linked to the territory from which they come.
The style is super traditional, in the vineyard the yields are low, the obsessive work in search of continuous perfection, in the cellar the same work, still carrying out the fermentations in wood and the refinement in large oak barrels.

Barolo is the result of the assembly of grapes from vineyards located all in the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba, where the soil is rich in limestone and clay, this factor in addition to the super traditional work done in the vineyard and in the cellar allows it to obtain an austere, tannic wine with incredible aging potential.
