Description

If there is one thing that is not lacking in Piedmont, it is small producers capable of competing and exalting themselves with wines of great quality. The Giuseppe Negro winery is a demonstration of this, born in the 1950s in Neive when Giuseppe began working the family vineyards with the utmost care for every small detail, today the same passion is carried on by his son Giorgio covering the role of both owner and winemaker. Specializing in the production of Barbaresco, the winery owns Nebbiolo vineyards in different plots where Gallina, considered among the best Cru of the appellation, stands out, in addition to the cultivation of Barbera and Dolcetto. Small annual production of about 60,000 bottles, very traditional style with use of barriques and medium barrels and longer aging to have wines with more character.
