Cieck – San Giorgio Erbaluce di Caluso Spumante – 2016

The Cieck company is located in San Giorgio Canavese, a few kilometers north of Turin, in the typical area of Erbaluce di Caluso, a historic native vine already famous in Roman times.
The winery was founded in 1985 and differs from other wineries in the area, because it is the first company to focus on and produce the Erbaluce grape in a quality sparkling version.
Over the years the winery increases the range of products, but focusing exclusively on native vines such as the white Erbaluce, and for the reds Nebbiolo and the rare Neretto.
The San Giorgio Metodo Classico is the company’s first wine, produced since 1987 with only the best Erbaluce grapes, it ferments on its own yeasts for 36 months. It looks like a very fresh and crunchy bubble, thanks to the good acidity of the Erbaluce, slightly aromatic aromas on the nose.
