Bric Cenciurio – Sito dei Fossili

Company located in the heart of the Langhe, to be precise in the village of Barolo, the typically Piedmontese name makes us understand how much the family is linked to the territory and we will also find this in their wines.
Owners of 13 hectares located in three municipalities between Langhe and Roero: Barolo, Castellinaldo and Magliano Alfieri.
Traditional technology and methodologies are the basic principles of the company which still follows the phases of the moon during the racking and bottling phases to get the most out of the grapes.
“Sito dei Fossili” passito is produced with overripe Arneis grapes in the Roero area. The grapes are harvested in early November, with the grapes already attacked by botrytis, in order to produce a real sweet raisin wine! A very pleasant wine, perfect to combine with desserts or for meditation. A passito that also plays on acidity as well as sweetness, thanks to the mineral soils of the Roero!
