Voerzio Martini – Barolo DOCG – 2015

A new company but with a great history behind it, since 2015 the two Martini twins have taken over the company of Gianni Voerzio in La Morra, 6 hectares of vineyards owned in the best crus of the entire area of Barolo, Cerequio, Monvigliero and La Serra. Thus began their adventure, innovative ideas alongside the great experience gained over the years by Gianni Voerzio, the right combination that led to the creation of pleasantly expressive and territorial wines. The main objective remains the careful management of the vineyards in respect of the environment, in order to obtain the highest quality of the raw material.
The Martini brothers produce their entry barolo by blending two of the best crus in Morra, La Serra and Boiolo. The soils are rich in sand and clay, the plants have an average age of 40 years and the stumps per hectare are more than 6000, the result can only be surprising. An intense wine, with a very wide range of aromas, in the mouth we will find it soft, full with the right tannic balance and long persistence. 2015, a vintage with slightly milder temperatures that brought us extraordinarily complex, ready and very pleasant wines.
