Trediberri – Barolo DOCG – 2016

Trediberri is a fairly recent project, born with the passion of 3 men in the heart of the Langhe, in the Barolo area. The winery is located in the Berri hamlet of La morra, from there it takes the name “i tre di Berri” and was founded in 2007, when the three bought 5 hectares of vineyard for the production of Barolo. Today there are 8 hectares of vineyards, 2 hectares have been added in the Cru Rocche dell’Annunziata di La Morra, one of the most renowned vineyards for Barolo.
Despite being a young winery, and without history, the three guys have very clear ideas about their wines and the Langa area.
The philosophy of the company is to produce wines, but above all very drinkable and balanced Barolos, in fact in winemaking they try to use the use of concrete tanks for winemaking and part of aging, and large wooden barrels.
Theirs are harmonious and traditional wines, where the true aromas given by each vineyard with its own soil are enhanced, with vertical tannins but at the same time elegant and silky.
Their Barolo comes from the Berri and Capalot vineyard of La morra, where the soils are rich in sands, ferments in concrete tanks, while the aging is done in large wooden barrels for two years. After aging, the wine rests for a few months in concrete before being bottled. A true Barolo from La Morra, elegant, fragrant, pleasant to drink without too much harshness in the mouth!
