Trediberri – Barolo del Comune di La Morra – 2018

Barolo from the village of La Morra was first produced in 2018 as a single Barolo, replacing the classic and Rocche dell’Annunziata. This wine encompasses the different plots of La Morra, due to excessive rainfall in late summer 2018, resulting in a wine that was slightly leaner than the winery’s quality standards. The result was a wine with a more pronounced freshness and acidity! A Barolo Classico dressed from a single vineyard, with a big potential thanks to the acidity and the best vines used for this blend.

Description

Trediberri is a rather recent project, born precisely with the passion of 3 men in the heart of the Langhe, in the Barolo area. The winery is located in the Berri hamlet of La Morra, from which in fact takes its name ” i tre di Berri “, was born in 2007 when the three bought 5 hectares of vineyard for the production of Barolo. Nowadays there are 8 hectares under vine, thanks to the purchase of 2 hectares in the “Rocche dell’Annunziata” vineyard in La Morra, one of the most renowned mentions for Barolo.
Despite being a young winery with no history, the three guys have very clear ideas about their wines and the Langa territory, immediately proving to be one of the most interesting realities in the Barolo wine scene. The winery’s philosophy is to produce wines, but above all very drinkable and balanced Barolos, in fact in winemaking they try to use cement tanks for vinification and part of aging.
Harmonious and traditional wines, where they enhance the true aromas given by each vineyard with its own soil, with vertical but at the same time elegant and silky tannins.
