Description

In Terlan in South Tyrol, a small village located between Bolzano and Merano, one of the most qualitative social wineries in Italy called ” Cantina Terlan” has been located since 1893. In this area viticulture was already practiced in the Roman period thanks to the terroir particularly suitable for producing great wines, where the vineyards are located from 400 to 900 meters altitude, the mountains act as a shelter from the icy winds from the north creating strong temperature ranges and very cool wines, and what is fundamental the type of soils rich in crystals and minerals. Today the winery produces about 1000000 bottles a year divided into two lines, where production is concentrated 80% in whites and 20% reds. In this winery in addition to the very high quality of wines, it is distinguished by its reliability and continuous maniacal care in the various processes from the vineyard to the cellar. A great Must.
