Terlan – Nova Domus Riserva – 2016

We are in South Tyrol at the foot of Mount Tschugguel, we find soils of volcanic origin, a climate that benefits from significant temperature variations and altitudes that reach 900 meters, in short, the perfect conditions for growing grapes. It is here 120 years ago that the Terlan winery was born, an avant-garde cooperative that today is a reference point in Italian viticulture, there are 143 members who give the grapes to the winery, allowing to reach the quality of wines known all over the world. In the vineyard the yields are low, very old plants and in the cellar the woods are used with care all this to give us wines with a strong, charismatic character and an unmistakable style.

Nova Domus, an imposing and complex wine, obtained from a blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon. The grapes come from vineyards facing south at an altitude between 250 and 900 meters, the harvest takes place manually and the malolactic process takes place only for Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco. A bottle with great potential, surprising aromaticity, softness and impressive structure, try to keep it a few more years before tasting it, it will surprise you!
