Terlan – Lunare – 2014

We are in South Tyrol at the foot of Mount Tschugguel, we find soils of volcanic origin, a climate that benefits from significant temperature variations and altitudes that reach 900 meters, in short, the perfect conditions for growing grapes. It is here 120 years ago that the Terlan winery was born, an avant-garde cooperative that today is a reference point in Italian viticulture, there are 143 members who give the grapes to the winery, allowing to reach the quality of wines known all over the world. In the vineyard the yields are low, very old plants and in the cellar the woods are used with care all this to give us wines with a strong, charismatic character and an unmistakable style.
Gewurztraminer is a vine whose origins date back to around 1000 AD. in Alto Adige, the wines obtained are easily recognizable by its heady scent.
Lunare is one of the most representative bottles of the Terlan winery, it is produced from the selection of the best bunches of Gewurztraminer grown exclusively on Mount Tschugguel, a pleasantly balanced wine, impressive aroma, perfectly balanced softness and freshness and finally a long persistence. You will fall in love with it at the first sip!
