Taittinger – Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blanc – 2006

The Taittinger maison is one of the largest and most historic realities in Champagne. It was born in Reims in 1743 by Jacques Fourneaux, a wine merchant, but in 1932 the true and current history of the maison began just when Pierre Taittinger, young with a passion for wine, fell in love with the land of Champagne, and decided to buy the estate. Today the family owns 288 hectares of vineyards, including 34 of the best crus. The winery has focused mainly on Chardonnay grapes, so much so that it is vinified in purity in the “Comte de Champagne”, a wine born in the 1950s, an icon of the company and produced only in the best vintages with the use of the most beautiful Grand Cru. Theirs are great wines where the historicity of the Maison is perceived, with great class and refinement.
The comte de Champagne Blanc de Blanc is made with only Chardonnay grapes from the best Grand Crus and produced only in the best vintages. Wine symbol of the winery !!
