Olivier Leflaive – “Montrachet” Grand Cru – 2012
We are in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, a very small village, but of absolute importance, here are the most exclusive and important GRAND CRUs in all of Burgundy for the Chardonnay grape variety.
The historic Leflaive family, who have always owned vineyards, was also born here. In the 80s Olivier Leflaive had the desire to have his own label and cellar, so he began to select the best parcels to then produce great wines.
It is one of the myths if we talk about Burgundy, especially if we talk about the most prized GRAND CRU for Chardonnay: LE MONTRACHET. It is a classy wine, there are no words to describe its greatness.
