Nicolas Jay – Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Oregon – 2016

“We produce the type of wine we love to drink” is Nicolas-Jay’s philosophy and strength.
Company born from a great friendship between the famous Burgundian winemaker Jean-Nicolas Meo and the entrepreneur Jay Boberg in 2011 who only after two years of meticulous research found their base in the Willamette Valley because according to them it is the best area to produce Pinot Blackout
A Frenchman who decides to go and produce wine in Oregon brings the culture of centuries of wine history to the new world, thus giving us balanced, fresh and highly expressive wines.
For aging, only 30% of the woods are new while the rest is imported from France to have very elegant wines with an almost silky finish.
