Mauro Veglio – Barolo Arborina – 2013

The history of this winery is very recent, we are in 1992 when Mauro and Daniela, both children of winemakers used to selling grapes, realizing the potential in their hands, decide to build their company. Both want to cut the past, start again from scratch by focusing on quality, clean wines, ready with the moderate use of small woods. In the vineyard the work is as natural as possible, the yields per hectare are very low and in the cellar we find a perfect balance between tradition and innovation in fact the final result is a product of the highest level.
Arborina cru of La Morra that stands out for a style that favors fruit and freshness to the structure and austerity, here from plants of about 50 years Mauro Veglio manages to produce super representative wine of the area, classically fruity olfactory profile, in the mouth a good combination of elegance and structure. A fantastic bottle now and exceptional in a few years!
