Description

Benoit Marguet is one of those vignerons that I like the most in recent years. Since 2004 he has been managing 8 hectares of vineyards in the Ambonnay area, famous for the production of Pinot Noir of great character and power, and he also rents a small part to the great Krug (you can understand the quality of the vineyards here). The vineyards have an average age of 40 years and are worked with biodynamic farming methods with the help of two horses to contribute to the welfare of the land. In the cellar, each parcel is vinified separately in wooden barrels and the wines rest on their own yeasts for a very long time. The result is elegant and harmonic wines, full but never heavy!
