Madonna Delle Grazie – Leucònoe Basilicata Bianco IGT – 2019

The Madonna delle Grazie Winery was founded in 2003, 8 and a half hectares of Aglianico del Vulture in the countryside of Venosa, but these guys have viticulture in their blood, handed down for several generations.
The company has 4 different vineyards both from a pedoclimatic point of view and from that of the age of the plants, the soils are mainly tuffaceous of volcanic origin, this gives the wines the classic note of minerality. The main goal of the winery is to produce wines of great elegance and representative of the land they come from, obviously without forgetting that the most important thing is the drinkability of their bottles
Leucònoe is the only white that the winery produces … but it is not the classic wine! It is produced with Aglianico red berried grapes but vinified in white. Thanks to the volcanic soils and to this highly structured grape, the result is a great white, mineral but warm with notes of citrus, herbs and flint. A very very interesting atypical white.
