Franco Conterno – Barolo Riserva Bussia – 2008

Bussia is the most significant vineyard for the Conterno family; in fact, the roots of the winery reside here where their first Barolo labels were born. This vineyard is located in the heart of the municipality of Monforte, famous for compact soils rich in brown clay giving the wines earthy notes and dry tannins. The winery with the oldest vines about 60 years old produces Barolo with the Riserva designation, where the wine is aged for 48 months in large oak barrels and 1 year in the bottle. A Must of the Conterno Franco wine selection, even in the oldest vintages the wine is always perfect, where notes of underbrush combine with roundness and pulp. Always a guarantee.
