Francesco Rinaldi e Figli – Nebbiolo d’Alba – 2020

Nebbiolo d’alba comes from different vineyards located in the commune of Verduno, where soils are the youngest of the whole Barolo area giving wines a more pronounced elegance. The wine is fermented in cement tanks plus one year of aging in large oak casks. Even for this simpler wine the Rinaldi family wants to give a traditional style, exalting the peculiarities of Nebbiolo grape and the most immediate drinkability. Finally a real nebbiolo.

Description

One of those wineries that best represents the territory of Langa, born in 1870, they put on the market the first bottle of Barolo in 1906!
It is fantastic to enter their winery which is located on the famous Cannubi hill and still breathe that ancient scent, here they use only big casks, as Piedmontese tradition requires, fermentations are long and wines are never bottled before August.
They have vineyards in the communes of La Morra, Barolo and Castiglione Falletto where there are very different soils and the winery is able to produce wines which represent the best of the territory.
