Francesco Rinaldi e Figli – Barolo Brunate – 2017

Their Barolo Brunate, comes from one of the most important vineyards for the position and quality of Nebbiolo grapes. Located between the commune of La Morra and Barolo, despite the soils rich in white marl, it is considered one of the vineyards with more character in the upper part of Barolo area. In this case the winery does not even own 2 hectares of vineyard, with 40 years old plants. The result is a great wine, delicate, herbaceous, crisp, with character, but elegant. A wine to absolutely keep over time.

Description

One of those wineries that best represents the territory of Langa, born in 1870, they put on the market the first bottle of Barolo in 1906!
It is fantastic to enter their winery which is located on the famous Cannubi hill and still breathe that ancient scent, here they use only big casks, as Piedmontese tradition requires, fermentations are long and wines are never bottled before August.
They have vineyards in the communes of La Morra, Barolo and Castiglione Falletto where there are very different soils and the winery is able to produce wines which represent the best of the territory.
