Description

A young and small winery, among the new frontiers of Franciacorta, it is making a name for itself thanks to a superlative production of bubbles. The winery is located in Coccaglio, in the highest part of the appellation, established in 2010 at an old farmhouse from the 1600s renovated by the project of Daniele Gentile and Gigi Nembrini, who decided after their studies in the field to take a new path. They cultivate 7 hectares with an annual production of 30000 bottles distributed in 4 labels made from classic Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, all in a context of biodiversity without invasive human action. Vines that are located on Mount Orfano at about 400 meters, terraced systems that involve manual procedures, clay/limestone soils and temperature excursions mean that the grapes compared to those on the plains have more aromas and power in acidity. Procedures in the cellar are precise and simple, controlled vinification only in steel without resorting to wood and malolactic fermentation as it avoids losing momentum in the wines, also the stays on the yeasts are not excessive so as to preserve dynamism in the bubbles. Minimal details for above-standard quality results.
