Cesare Bussolo – Barolo del Comune di La Morra – 2020

The Barolo del Comune di La Morra, was produced for the first time in 2017 and symbolizes a wine that plays more on drinkability and elegance. In this case, Cesare uses only the Boiolo vineyard in La Morra, a cru of considerable importance but one that gives more pleasant and fresh nebbiolos. Little more than 4000 bottles produced. A great wine, nothing to do with an entry level Barolo. Class and drinkability are the key words for this wine.

Description

Cesare Bussolo, a young producer, after graduating from the Enological School of Alba, began his career under the wing of the great Roberto Voerzio, where he still works.
He follows the same philosophy of his teacher, maximum care in the vineyard and absolute respect for the environment, very low yields, more than 8000 vines per hectare and little interventionism in the vineyard. Finally, since 2012 he has been able to fulfill his greatest dream…for the first time he produces his own wine, starting with a limited production of a very good and qualitative Barbera in the Santa Lucia vineyard in La Morra. The boy until today has made his way, in 2014 he began to produce the first bottles of Barolo in the vineyard Fossati, but today we see on the market, also a classic Barolo, a Dolcetto and a new Barbera… “Roscaleto”! one of the best Barbera ever. Few thousands of bottles produced per type of wine…but what can we say…Cesare’s wines are a great guarantee.
