Brezza – Barolo Sarmassa Vigna Bricco Riserva – 2013

The Brezza winery is located in the center of the town of Barolo and was founded in 1885, but from 1910 it starts to bottle its own wine. Today we are in the fourth generation, but the dimensions of the cellar are always the same and the management is absolutely familiar.
Their philosophy is to vinify each vineyard individually to enhance every type of soil and to work in the vineyard and cellar cleanly, not using pesticides and only large barrels for aging, so much so that they have been certified organic for more than 20 years.
The Barolo “Vigna Bricco” is produced in the highest parcel of the Sarmassa vineyard. This wine is not produced every year, but only in the most beautiful vintages, in a limited quantity of bottles and with a higher refinement so as to have the mention of reserve. The 2013 vintage was one of the most beautiful in terms of quality of the grapes, this is the classic Barolo to keep for the whole life in the cellar.
