Barone Pizzini – Franciacorta Riserva Bagnadore – 2009

Franciacorta, a wine growing area that has become famous for its sparkling wines, here we find Barone Pizzini, the first company in this area to produce wines from organic viticulture, but the company goes further, building a cellar built with environmentally friendly architecture.
There are 47 hectares of vineyards, since 2011 the winery has decided to parcel out the grapes harvested from each single vineyard in order to best represent the characteristics of the various soils present, rich in sand and silt.
A winery that represents one of the most important wineries of Franciacorta, which can boast a very solid production line.
Bagnadore, a blend of pinot noir and chardonnay whose bunches come from a single vineyard with plants that are between 20 and 30 years old, also thanks to the proximity of a wood we find an ideal microclimate for the ripening of the grapes. The wine obtained is one of the most representative products of Barone Pizzini, produced only in the best years and in limited quantities.
After 70 months on the lees, the wine is pleasantly fresh, elegant with a deep and rich finish.
