Clos Lentiscus – Greco di Subur Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature
The Clos Lentiscus estate has always been present in the Penedes area, above Barcelona, an area famous for the production of Cava sparkling wines, but since 2001, thanks to the Avino brothers and the recovery of old vines and native vines, the wines have begun to be marketed.
The style is to approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar in the cleanest way possible, also providing for a biodynamic viticulture.
The winery is located within the Garraf natural park, a seafront area rich in sandy soils and fossil organic substances, thus giving the wines those unique brackish notes.
The Blanc de Blanc Greco di Subur is a sparkling wine produced with the almost disappeared aromatic native vine “Malvasia di Sitges”, it is aged on its lees for 36 months.
Particularly interesting and unconventional bubble, brackish, mineral and aromatic notes, zero dosage. Crunchy, very fun marine wine!
