Voerzio Martini – Barolo La Serra – 2015
A new company but with a great history behind it, since 2015 the two Martini twins have taken over the company of Gianni Voerzio in La Morra, 6 hectares of vineyards owned in the best crus of the entire area of Barolo, Cerequio, Monvigliero and La Serra. Thus began their adventure, innovative ideas alongside the great experience gained over the years by Gianni Voerzio, the right combination that led to the creation of pleasantly expressive and territorial wines. The main objective remains the careful management of the vineyards in respect of the environment, in order to obtain the highest quality of the raw material.
La Serra, a cru in the municipality of La Morra, is distinguished by a fresh and crunchy style, with soils rich in minerals and microelements, the Voerzio Martini company produces a surprisingly balanced wine, aromas, finesse, structure and pleasant drink. 2015, a vintage with slightly milder temperatures that brought us extraordinarily complex, ready and very pleasant wines.
