In the heart of the Langhe on the Gallina hill, a vineyard with a vocation for the production of Barbaresco, Ugo Lequio, a true DOC winemaker, makes his wines with passion and authenticity.
The small company owns 6 hectares around the farmhouse for a total annual production of 30,000 bottles.
All his wines are a combination of class, elegance and longevity.
The Barbaresco Gallina, which takes its name from the vineyard of the same name, is made from vines that are about 70 years old. Ugo Lequio succeeds in giving us a harmonious, elegant wine that will surprise us with its silky finish. 2014, a cooler vintage, has given us wines that play on freshness and verticality, pleasant and ready even now.
