Schiavenza – Barolo Broglio – 2016

Here in Serralunga d’Alba, which has always been considered one of the pillars of the Barolo appellation, the Schiavenza winery was born, which for over seventy years has been giving us wines of great structure, complexity and closely linked to the territory from which they come.
The style is super traditional, in the vineyard the yields are low, the maniacal work in search of continuous perfection, in the cellar the same work, still carrying out the fermentation in wood and aging in large oak barrels.
Barolo Broglio comes from the same vineyard located southeast of Serralunga d’Alba and thanks to this exposure, the wine maintains an extra freshness despite the soil rich in rock and limestone. This wine is aged for 3 years in large oak barrels, and is a true Barolo from Serralunga! Tannic, hard, spicy! In short, if you like old school Barolos this is for you! Less than 10000 bottles produced.
