Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons – Classique – 2017
We are talking about the end of the 90s, when two families linked to the wine world decide to create Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons. Two different worlds, France and South Africa that come together to create wines with a unique and inimitable style. Rothschild a surname, a guarantee we know that we will drink a wine produced by the family par excellence in the wine world. While the oenological aspect is coordinated by Michel Rolland, a world-renowned winemaker. We are at the foot of Simonsberg Mountain where the soil is rich in granite debris, the intensity of winter rainfall combined with warmer summers are ideal for the vine. In the vineyards the yields are low and the grapes are harvested manually, the wines obtained best represent the prestige of these great producers never lacking in quality. A blend of Bordeaux’s wisdom and South African tradition, the grapes are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
A bottle that will give you fantastic emotions for its immense pleasure. The wine is warm, enveloping and decidedly sensual with a long and soft finish.
