Reichsgraf Von Kesselstatt – Riesling Kaseler Nies’Chen GG – 2015

The Reichsgraf Von Kesselstatt estate is over 650 years old and is therefore one of the most historic estates in Germany.
The company owns 36 hectares and is the only one in the whole area to have vineyards in all three valleys of the Mosel, Saar and Ruwer region.
The estate classifies its vineyards according to the different qualities of the vineyards to best respect the true nature of the terroir.
The Kesel Nies’chen from the Grand Cru of the same name located in the upper area of the Ruwer valley, soil composed of hard blue slate that gives the wine the classic note of red fruit which is enriched with aromatic herbs and the classic mineral finish. A very “didactic” wine that makes us understand the composition of the soil can affect the organoleptic characteristics of a wine.
