Mario Marengo – Barolo Brunate – 2015

Historic winery founded in 1899 in the municipality of La Morra, classic family run. Seven hectares of vineyards in the best exposures. Today Marco runs the company, he still pursues the idea of giving life to unequivocally local wines. The only change is the use of barriques, used however with great parsimony, no excess but masterful cleaning.
His “Brunate” comes from the homonymous cru, considered one of the best in the whole Barolo area, the vineyards are over 80 years old, an elegant but energetic wine.
