Roero Riserva comes from the San Michele vineyard located in Canale, facing southwest, and is aged for two years in large wooden barrels. With the mention riserva, the aging is slightly longer than a classic Roero, but the wine is very balanced and enjoyable to taste. It is a Nebbiolo that has a great texture, a remarkable capacity for aging … Fine but persistent tannins, great drinkability and delicate aromas on the nose will win you over!

Description

Marco Porello winery is located in Canale, a reference town of Roero. For three generations now, it has been producing excellent wines, from the most representative whites such as Arneis to the typical Piemontese reds…but the winery is famous for its super-territorial interpretation of Nebbiolo from Roero DOCG. The winery, now run by Marco, is a family business and cultivates only 15 hectares of vineyards. Their wines stand out for their cleanliness and finesse, fully expressing the characteristics of the sandy soils of Roero.
