Haart – Riesling Trocken Piesporter – 2016

We are in Moselle, precisely in Piesport, the Reinhold Haart winery founded in 1337, one of the oldest families of winemakers in the world, has 8 hectares of which 4 in the famous Goldtröpfchen vineyard considered one of the best in the entire Moselle.
Thanks to tradition, to a great quality of the vineyards and to the continuous search for perfection they are considered among the absolute best producers of the Moselle.
In the vineyards, the work is almost obsessive, they intervene as little as possible, the yields per hectare are very low, all in order to obtain wines with a very classic style.
The grapes to produce their Riesling Piesporter trocken come from the steep vineyards facing south of Piesport, where the subsoil is formed by slate.
A fresh riesling with good acidity, simple and drinkable.
