G.D. Vajra – Barbera d’Alba – 2018/2019

The company was founded in 1972, when Aldo Vaira decided not to sell the grapes anymore but to start making wine and producing wine with a mix of tradition and innovation. Today the company has 60 hectares but they still like to define themselves as a family farm accompanied by a young and dynamic team. Respect for the land and the deep bond to its origins have always accompanied the philosophy of the winery. All wines have common characteristics of elegance, complexity and delicacy. Barbera di Vajra is a wine of great body and intensity, the grapes are meticulously selected from different owned vineyards, it is characterized by a pleasantly fresh vein and a fine and subtle tannin. A bottle of personality that tells the deep bond that unites the winery with the Langhe terroir.
