Franco Conterno – Barolo Bussia – 2017
Barolo “Bussia” finally after 10 years, is back on the market with the vintage 2017. In these years it has been vinified only with the mention Riserva, but with great foresight and thanks to the oldest plants and a good quality of grapes, the Conterno family has decided to re-propose their most historic cru on the market with a regular aging of 4 years.
In my opinion, this is one of the Barolos that best represents the soils and terroir of the Bussia vineyard. Dust, soil, tobacco, dry mouthfeel with a slight softness. One of the most mouthwatering 2017s ever.
