With the Cascinotto vineyard located in Diano d’Alba since the 1990s, the Alario winery has been producing this great Nebbiolo d’Alba. After vinification in temperature-controlled rotofermenters, the wine is aged for 20 months in barriques (50% new). If you are looking for a delicate and fine wine, this is not for you!!! Here we find power and structure, intense aromas of tobacco and overripe fruit. Nebbiolo perfect for important meals.

Description

The winery was founded in 1900 in Diano d’Alba, where the Alario family has dedicated itself to the care and cultivation of vines for three generations. In the beginning, the grapes were exclusively for sale, but the real turning point came in 1988 when Claudio joined the company and contributed to the enhancement of the vineyards and immediately began bottling Dolcetto, a grape variety that represents the winery’s historical identity. The winery slowly grows and expands to the production of Barbera and Nebbiolo wines. The yields in the vineyard are low so as to ensure quality to their wines, innovation and tradition are characteristics that we find in their wines.
