Chateau Musar – Musar Red – 2010

The story begins in 1930 when Gaston Hochar, passionate about wine and in particular the history of winemaking in Lebanon, decided to plant in the Bekaa valley international and indigenous grapes such as obaideh and merwah, white berried grapes.
In this area, the soils are calcareous clay, the climatic conditions particularly favorable to the point that diseases are completely absent, moreover Chateau Musar is the first winery in Lebanon to require organic certification.
Today the winery has 180 hectares, the vines are almost a hundred years old and still on the loose, in short, all the elements make us deduce that the wine will be fantastic and I assure you that you will not be disappointed.
In fact, its red Chateau Musar is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Cinsault in varying percentages depending on the vintage, the wine is only put on the market when deemed ready. Fruit, fragrance, softness but also a certain structure for a mythical wine!
