Castello di Verduno – Barolo Monvigliero – 2019

The Monvigliero vineyard has always been considered the best plot in the commune of Verduno, thanks to its cooler position and soils rich in sandy marl, giving the Nebbiolo wines incomparable elegance and distinct freshness. With the plants about 60 years old, the winery produces a few thousand bottles, where the wine ages for 30 months in large oak barrels and more than a year in the bottle. Very delicate Barolo with slightly herbaceous aromas and fresh, crisp tannins.
