Description

Cantina del Pino is one of the most ancient estates in the Barbaresco area, the pine tree from which the winery takes its name, was planted by the great agronomist and undisputed father of Barbaresco Domizio Cavazza, he sold the winery to Vacca family, vintners since many generations. 1997 the winery officially started bottling and selling its first wines, today the winery owns 7 hectares (12.5 acres) most of which are in the Ovello cru.
Few bottles produced, quality not quantity has always been the philosophy of the winery, maximum respect for the rhythms of the land in order to obtain wines that fully reflect the terroir. Study and meticulous work are part of the daily routine in order to obtain wines of great impact which offer a modern but at the same time traditional interpretation of a territory which has always been home to great wines.
