Cà Viola – Barbera d’Alba Bric Du Luv – 2016
The Ca ‘Viola Winery was born from the fruit of an unconditional love for wine. In 1991 the oenologist Beppe Caviola, thanks to the advice of the renowned Barolo producer, Elio Altare, produced his first wine, a Dolcetto, in a small vineyard in Montelupo Albese. Today the company boasts 14 hectares and alongside the historic Dolcetto and Barbera labels they also produce a Barolo. From the hills of the wolves of Dogliani, and from here to Barolo, the Caviola family has come a long way, but without ever abandoning their philosophy of simplicity and excellence.
Barbera “Bric Du Luv” comes from vines located in the hills of Montelupo Albese at about 400 meters above sea level, it is one of the company’s historic wines that represent the traditional and fresh expression of this grape. The work in the vineyard is as natural as possible and in the cellar no selected yeasts are used to favor the genuine expression of the grapes.
A ready-to-drink, juicy and very fragrant Barbera to drink on any occasion!
