Ca’ del Baio – Langhe Riesling Fré – 2018

For four generations Ca ‘del Baio has been one of the most traditional establishments in the Langa. The winery was founded in 1870 in the current Cascina Vallegrande, in the municipality of Treiso by Giuseppe Grasso, and today the company is managed by the great-grandchildren.
Today the family cultivates 28 hectares of vineyards among the most prestigious just like Asili and Pora and Marcarini between the municipalities of Barbaresco and Treiso and beyond the renowned Nebbiolo and the typical Piedmontese vines, space has been given to the cultivation of some international varieties such as Riesling and the Chardonnay.
Their Rhenish Riesling is cultivated in the freshest and most northern part of the vineyard precisely to enhance the typical characteristics of this blend. Vinification in steel, this is a beautiful example of mineral wine, straight, savory with hydrocarbon aromas. A very fun wine, which plays precisely on drinkability
