Albamar – O Esteiro – 2016
We are in Galicia, north-west of Spain, we are on the ocean, granite, sandy soils rich in organic matter and medium acidity all of this is Rias Baixas, resulting in wines of good complexity, soft but also fresh with a Mediterranean, mineral profile and saline.
Bodega Albamar is a young and dynamic reality that is making itself known internationally thanks to its typical and territorial wines.
The plants are very old, still on the loose, cultivated following a biological system.
‘O Esteiro’ is obtained from a blend of three native Caiño, Espadeiro and Mencía grapes from which a red wine is obtained that reflects all the characteristics of the terroir and variety: cutting edge, Atlantic and very mineral.
