Marco Porello – Roero Torretta – 2021
Roero Torretta represents one of the highest territorial expressions of Roero, with clean, broad aromas of fresh fruit and maximum crispness in the mouth where tannin and acidity come together perfectly in impeccable balance. The Torretta vineyard is located in Canale, adjacent to the San Michele cru, facing southwest with more compact soils with hints of clay. Here, too, vinification is carried out in steel tanks and then aged for about a year in Tonneaux and large barrels before bottling. 8000 bottles produced.

Description
The Marco Porello winery is located in Canale, a landmark town of Roero. For 3 generations now, it has been producing excellent wines from the most representative whites such as Arneis to the typical Piedmontese reds…but the winery is famous for its super territorial interpretation of nebbiolos from Roero DOCG. The winery now run by Marco, is family-run and cultivates only 15 hectares of vines. Their wines stand out for their cleanliness and finesse, fully expressing the characteristics of Roero’s sandy soils.
