Paolo Berutti – Alta Langa Rosé Brut – 2018
His Alta Langa Rosè is produced with Pinot Noir grapes only. After a light maceration on skins in order to extract color, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine subsequently rests on its lees for 36 months before disgorging. The jewel of the house! Rare to find, but of unparalleled finesse and perfection.

Description
Paolo Berutti for me represents one of the most technical and best producers of Alta Langa sparkling wines. Enotechnician and consultant for a lifetime for a famous sparkling wine cellar in Canelli, over the years he finally succeeded in making his dream of starting his own project come true. The winery and vineyards are located in Santo Stefano Belbo between Alba and Asti’s Langhe, a renowned area for sparkling wines and Moscato. Works in the vineyard and in the cellar are personally followed by Paolo producing very few bottles of wine, but with the sole purpose of making niche wines, pleasing to drink, but most of all clean and perfect.
