Pianpolvere Soprano – Barolo Riserva Bussia – 2006

Pianpveri Soprano is a winery rich in history, located in the homonymous vineyard in the Bussia cru in Monforte, which has always been considered one of the most refined vineyards for the quality of the Nebbioli. It takes its name from the powder magazine built in 1700 by Napoleon, but since 1900 this area became famous for the production of wines. The Pianpveri vineyards were initially owned by the church, then passed into the hands of the Fenocchio family and from the 1990s it was bought by the Migliorini family, already owner of the Rocche dei Manzoni winery.
Very few bottles are produced only in the best vintages and in the 7-year reserve version.
It is a gem of Barolo, the highest expression of Nebbiolo, powerful, refined, austere!
In 2006 you will find a slightly more vertical wine thanks to this fresher vintage.
