Marcarini – Barolo Brunate – 1996

The history of Poderi Marcarini begins in the mid-19th century, with the founder Giuseppe Tarditi, a journey made up of intuitions, hard work and effort to reach the sixth generation today and a total of 25 hectares of vineyards between Langhe and Roero. The company owns some of the best crus of Barolo, La Serra and Brunate grown with special care and attention without using chemicals and adopting a targeted pruning system to obtain clean, fresh and highly expressive wines. Today, as then, the company has only one claim, to enclose the perfection of quality in the wines.

Brunate, a cru whose vineyards are divided between the municipalities of Barolo and La Morra, a single side that has always been considered among the best for the production of Barolo thanks to its exceptional exposure. Poderi Marcarini has always produced a Brunate with a masculine and austere character, the true archetype of Barolo! In the vineyard only the best grapes are selected while in the cellar it is vinified in a very traditional way to obtain a surprisingly representative wine. Seeing is believing!
