Franco Conterno – Na Punta Spumante Extra Brut – 2016

In the center of the Langhe, to be precise in Bussia, a hamlet of Monforte, Cascina Sciulun was born at the end of the 19th century, which has always been owned by the Conterno family who for years has been involved in the production of wines always following a philosophy focused on the balance between man and nature.
Today the company includes 28 hectares located in the best crus for the production of Barolo, the love for the land is applied in all phases, from the vineyard to the cellar where the wood deemed suitable is used for each type of grape.
Franco Conterno’s wines are distinguished by the great pleasure they are able to express from the first moment.
Their SPARKLING wine produced with the most important grape of Piedmont, nebbiolo, but not just any nebbiolo but the best used for the production of Barolo.
The harvest takes place one month before the traditional one, the winemaking requires a “sur lies” stop of at least 40 months plus six months of big barrel.
A complex, intense wine with a pleasantly soft finish. A bubble that will completely surround your mouth.
