Giuseppe Negro – Langhe Nebbiolo Monsù – 2018

Giuseppe Negro has led the winery and vineyards since the 1950s with the utmost care for every little detail, today with the same passion, his son Giorgio carries on his father’s work.
The winery is located in Neive and has two fantastic vineyards, Gallina and Pian Cavallo, considered among the best for the production of Barbaresco.
Small annual production of around 60,000 bottles.
Its nebbiolo is obtained with grapes from the Gallina and Pian Cavallo vineyards, the soil is mainly sandy with a part of clay which allows to obtain a very elegant wine, despite the two years of wood. Fresh, fragrant but with a good persistence.

Productive Notes: Fermentation in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 10 days. Aging in 500 liter barrels for six months.
