Our hotel organized a wine tasting with Stefano. Over the course of two hours, Stefano taught us all about the Barolo region and went very in depth.
As well, we got to try many different types of Barolo. We walked away feeling so much more knowledgeable about the wines of Piedmont.
The cheese and meats paired with the tasting were excellent as well.

This amazing place – off the beaten path of the busy tourist area – is a must visit.
You sign up for a wine tasting but they always ask you questions to figure out the exact wine tasting path you want to take.
While they provide the wine, they give you history and stories on the region and soil.
They also provide light snacks from local farmers – and many of the wines are from small wineries.
If in Barolo – go here- you will not be disappointed.

We were happy they were able to take us without a booking. Learned a great deal about the Nebbiolo grape and region.
Tasted an amazing bubbly and numerous great reds. Pairings with local cheeses and meats.
All at a surprisingly reasonable cost. My ideal Saturday afternoon!

The meats & cheeses are always locally sourced and unique (and incredibly tasty).

This is both a wine bar and wine store in Barolo. Offers small plates of meat and cheese.
Stefano is extremely helpful and willing to educate you on the local wines of Barolo. Make an appointment to meet with him.
He handled shipping our wine to the United States. His maps and education are unbeatable.

Simply amazing. We did a master Barolo class with Stefano about a month ago and it was perfect in every way.
Stefano was engaging, knowledgeable and very friendly. My wife & I learned a lot and tasted some great wine.
Make sure to stop here if in Barolo. You will not be disappointed.
